Privacy
Paadal has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we never sell data. It talks only to the server you tell it to.
Effective 29 October 2026. This policy covers the Paadal apps for Mac, iPhone and CarPlay, and this website. Paadal is made by Skcript (“we”).
Your server and credentials
Paadal connects only to the server address you enter, using your own credentials. Your credentials are stored in the device Keychain. We do not receive them.
Listening history and favourites
These are stored on your device and, if you turn it on, in your own private iCloud database. We cannot read them. Apple handles iCloud under Apple’s privacy policy.
Crash reports
If the app crashes, a report is sent to an error tracker that Skcript hosts itself. It contains the device model, OS version, app version and a stack trace. It contains no account data and no listening data.
Optional smart features (Jev)
These are off by default. If you add your own TypeSafe API key, song and artist titles are sent to TypeSafe to power them. Without a key, nothing is sent.
What we don’t do
- No ads.
- No analytics.
- No tracking across apps or websites.
- No sale of data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date.
